Hey all! I have 95 Coupe with D16z6. I noticed under distributor cap, on top of the tranny, and on D16Z6 carving on motor theirs oil on it. Their never is oil on the ground though where I park my car everyday. I checked oil while ago and its above the 2nd dot. Has this happened to anyone?

Sounds like the distributor o-ring is bad. It's a fairly easy fix. And the o-ring is like $2 on majestichonda. I need to change mine as well.

Here's how to change it on a B-Series but it's the same principles as a D-Series. Just be sure to make a mark so you don't screw up your timing and be very careful not to spin anything when you remove the distributor.

John is probably right, most likely the dizzy o-ring.

I appreciate it guys. I was told it could be the vtec solenoid ? I mean I put my finger under it and found gunk oil (not wet and drippy) but I dont even change gears pass 3000 RPM cause car is really loud. All and all that price beats a new solenoid ha.

If there is oil under the VTEC solenoid, there is a gasket you can change for that too.

Well my brother forgot to put oil filter on when he told me to start car after changing oil so I guess oil poped out and went different places so its making it hard for me to figure out now where its coming from. I mean yeah theirs oil under vtec solenoid like gunk of it, not watery wet. If it is vtec solenoid can I even get a gasket for that from autozone? I know I cant even get a vtec solenoid from their.

Alright so today I go out and look underneath the car (gonna wait till weekend to get whatever part i need) and I seen a drop of oil on the ground. On the oil pan theirs 2 oil bubble spots that looks like about to drip oil. One is like 2 inches from the oil drain plug

Tighten the drain plug. Sounds to me like it is loose.

I don't know if AutoZone would have the gaskets or not. I would personally get them from majestichonda.com or from the local dealer.
