no video playing in wmp 11

like the title says i have no video in wmp 11 just audio. i have the lates codecs so i dunno what is going on.

it does it with all files ive tried. its pissin me off. i even went back to wmp 9 and its still doing it.

i know you said you have all the latest codecs, but try downloading the latest divx.com codec again.

hmm.. i havent used winamp in a whiles, let me download it and see if i can play movies.

i'd go download a codec pack compatible with wmp11

ohhhh well duh, that makes sense.. Windows Media Player, haha i was thinkin WinaMP.. but umm, did you download the codecs yourself? or did you do the microsoft update?

TOOLS > PLUG-INS > OPTIONS

check your PLUG-INS, see if your video dsp is there. also check your FILE TYPES, see if you have all y our file types supported and check them all.

ok this is what i get when i click on video dsp. im gonna assume im missing something. the only one that has stuff in it is visualization.

I'd just suggest downloading VLC player which is free, isnt a music player but plays all formats of video[avi, mp4, bin, divx, mpeg, iso, mkv, etc.] hope that helps let me know if that fixes ur problem.
