O2 Sensor Relocaton

ok i got 4-2-1 header, decat pipe and catback for my d16y7 what i need to know is about relocating the o2 sensors, where do i relocate them to? will these bring up any MILs? thanx

I'm not sure but i think you need to tap a new hole in the header a shop will do it for 25 bucks

if the new header doesnt have a bung for the o2 sensor, then waht rey rey said is right. idunno a price, but it shouldnt be too bad.

yeah but your motor's o2 sensor locations are different than a y7 rey

for my 99 y7, i bought a y8 dc header(came with o2 extensions), a powercore high flow cat, and apexi ws exhaust(y8, again). i put my first o2 sensor in the bung provided by dc and extended my second o2 and put in in where the bung was provided AFTER the cat. when you run your car without the cat i'm thinking you might throw a cel. hopefully not, but i did. gl.

try to keep th elocation similar to the old one, i cant speak on teh D series but you just need to buy a o2 sensor BUNG and have it welded into some piping
