I just wanna see if anyone else has had this issue.

I have a 98 Civic EX with a b16a swap.

Everytime I take it to get it inspected, or plug in an OBD II reader it, it powers up, but says "Connection Failed"

Its giving juice, but thats about it.

Any idea on what this could be?

I hope its something as simple as that. Did the self containted OBD still power up on yours? The reader will turn on, but wont connect is my issue. If its just the plug, hell, I can fix that my self. I am probly ganna rent a Volt reader form Autozone tonight to see if its the plug. THanks.

Anyone else know what it might be?

Sorry, didnt know it was too big. I am pretty sure that the ECU was OBD II as it pluged right in to my OBD II wiring harness. I litterally just pulled out my D, plopped in the B, and pluged the B ECU in.
