Okay so i had a 91 std base model ef hatch. I have the jdm b16a obd0 motor. In my base model hatch it plugged right up. the necessary wires were run. so on and so forth. Now i have a 90 Si ef hatch. Still got the same b16a. The Driver side Plug is smaller on the chassis harness side and has 8 pins while my b16a harness side is larger and has a 9 pin plug. On the passenger side there is a plug on the chassis side that does not have a matching plug on the engine harness side. Ive done some looking around and i see a lot of people saying i need the d16a6 engine side wiring harness. then run two wires for vtec and vuala? Is this true? if i buy a d16a6 engine side wiring harness, swap it onto my b16a motor will it plug up to the motor and the the plugs that currently dont match?
