Thanks for reading guys, I have oil in my spark plugs and wanted to know if this is going to be a major problem. Only one of my spark plugs does not have oil on it. Heard I could just get a gasket and sealant and pretty cheap to do. I want to hear your guys point of view and what to do about this. 1991 Honda civic hatchback Dx: D15b1 sohc. Thanks....

Welcome to the site.

Have you checked the gaskets on the valve cover around the spark plug holes?

naw, all I did was check the spark plugs. Going from left to right, the first one had no oil, second one had a little oil, third one had more and the fourth one ahd the most but it's not like it looked like they were dipped in oil. If spark plugs being dipped in oil all the way would be level 5 then I would say mine look liked level 2 to 3.

Check those gaskets to inspect for any rips or tears or anything.

I'm sure it's the gasket. So just go buy a valve cover gasket kit and it'll come with the spark plug gaskets too

well i checked it and everything looks fine. I cleaned all the oil and from the spark plugs. I'm going to drive it for awhile and see if I get any more oil on the spark plugs.
