Oxygen Sensor Dying?

98 Honda Civic DX. The codes were accidentally cleared, but I am getting stumbles at acceleration at low speeds. It seems to be get worse with hot weather. Is this an indicator that the oxygen sensor is failing? If so, which one? I am thinking it's the one in the engine, which I believe is called the upstream oxygen sensor? Thank you.

there is no o2 sensor IN the engine, but if it is a faulty o2 sensor the CEL will return shortly..just take it out for a drive
and then when it does get the code again to be sure you know which one it is..or you can just buy two new ones, if one is bad..the other one is soon to follow

Could also be a sign of a distributor/spark issue starting. Just to keep in mind if the CEL does not pop back on for whatever reason.

The CEL did not pop back on, and it did turn out to be a distributor issue.

Your advice was spot on, thank you.
