Power steering pump leak

Suh Bruh,

I went to my local repair shop, they said my power steering pump is leaking...but my thought is(cause I'm cheap)...how important is it? She will live with out it right?, then I thought...can/will it f**k up something else?

In the middle of nowhere so you don’t kill anyone, remove the PS belt on YOUR car and let us know how you feel about disabling PS.

I have other cars with out power steering...but I wanted me make sure I wont mess anything up by unhooking the belt

FYI

A disabled PS rack is much more difficult to steer.

Post clear pics showing the location of the PS pump leak.

Like I stated,

There’s no hurry to post pics...next week, month, year. It’s the internet.

If you want help fixing the pump, post pics when you have time. Fixing the pump is the only proper way to address the problem.

You want picks of my honda or the other cars?...and what do I take a pic of exactly?...I'm not a car guy I'm an airplane guy lol

Have the mechanic show you or mark the location of the pump leak. Then post pics of the location. The location of the leak provides key information about how to fix the problem. It might be as simple as replacing a hose or tightening a clamp.

I presume that if you can work on an airplane, you can also do basic car work.
