ok, after of not being able to find an OEM silver bumper, I figured I'd just find one at a junk yard in any color. Just wanted to know how should I go about preping the bumper for painting? what should I use to strip the paint? Im not painting or primering it, Im going to have the shop do that.

BTW, is the 00 civic type R Silver vouge silver metallic or satin silver?

if you're gonna have the shop do the primer part of it, why not just have them do the whole thing...the cost of labor is about the same if you were to just sand it and have them do the rest. you should just sand it primer, wet sand primer and just have them paint it...that's your best bet...
