Privacy Screen for Hatch

2021 Sport Hatchback, AT

Recently bought a new Civic used. Love the car. First time owning a Civic. I have the privacy screen that slides in the trunk, but it seems that there should also be something that attached to the hatch itself to provide fully privacy to the trunk area. Is there a part that I am missing? I see plastic tabs on the hatch where it would look like something would go.

There was a hard tray. Good luck trying to find one. Honda stopped producing them about 12 years ago. Folks want a lot of money for them in good condition. Upwards of $1000.

If they stopped producing them 12 years ago, why are there plastic clips for them on a 2021?

The clips are mostly likely reused in other models. Same with door clips, side molding clips, etc.
