ratling noise!!!!!!!

ok so i was racing a friends 2011 5.0 mustang(i know i know its a gagillion times faster)for fun and a couple of hours later all of a sudden i hear a rattling noise coming from my cam gear area can n e one suggest what can b wrong...and it might or might not b the reason for that happening idk!!

well i took it to a friend and he says its the internal timing belt....watever that is so im taking it to an auto place but i know there gonna want to charge me an arm and leg
