it will always sound better with the subs facing the rear of the car.

i think i will try it without new clips first. and im not gonna be pounding it all the time. i have one 10" sub coming in soon. what are your suggestions for sub boxes?

thats hard to say different subs require different dimensions for the enclosure usually the manufacture has that information . as far as ported and sealed boxes go ported will give you more bass because it moves more air. sealed will sound tighter and more precise . i personally prefer sealed i will be getting rid of my ported box soon.

Alright, I will be sticking with a sealed one any to start since it takes up less space too. I looked it up and here is what I will have to build for my sub maybe minus the black carpet:
5/8" MDF (medium-density fiberboard) with black carpet covering •internal volume: 0.76 cubic feet •dimensions: 14-1/8"W x 13-7/16"H x 11-5/8"D1 x 8-1/2"D2
Shouldn't be too hard,
