serious question B18C1

okay, so a buddy of mine has a B18C1 out of a GSR in his garage.
he bought it, and decided to dump his project.

the motor has 34,000 miles on it, and has a few mods
Eagle forged connecting rods
JE Pistons Forged piston set
full skunk2 stage 3 head (titanium valves, valvesprings, retainers,) and stage 3 cams
RC engineering 440cc fuel injectors
Mugen Headers
an AEM cold air intake
a Skunk2 intake manifold,
and a lightweight counterbalanced crankshaft

any idea how much his motor is pushing to the crank?
he said he'll sell it for $4500

good deal? or no.

Probably somewhere around 200 whp....Offer him $3000!

depends what its tuned on and the compression of those pistons. anywhere from 180whp to 210whp is my guess

there also talking wheel hp because at the flywheel hp is a load of bs.

a stock gsr has 168 crank hp. with all those mods your probly looking at about 250 at the crank, but more like 220-230 depending on tune to the wheels

again, it depends on the compression ratio of those pistons. i doubt you'll get more than 210 to the wheels unless you went overbore

sounds like a turbo build with forged stuff..
whats the compression ratio on it?

i dont think it was a turbo build with those cams and valvetrain and only 440cc injectors. sounds like an all motor setup for sure. if you build a motor like that for boost you're shooting for 400whp+, and 440cc just isnt going to cut it :lol:. not to mention the mugen header...

im assuming the pistons are prob 12.5 or more
