saving them in gif form is also a good way to compress files.... Generally a sig at 500x100 in gif form will rarely be over 35k....

when your done with your sig, try using the "save for web" feature :thumbs up

that usually takes care of it for me

plus, i generally make my sigs 500x90, instead of the allowed 500x100 :what:
i use the same...but i dont turn my sigs to 500x90

your current sig is above the 35k max.

the sig size file size wise has been discussed before. the quality u lose from a 70k sig to a 35k sig is minimal. just don;t use tons of colors and other crap in the sig and u should be fine.

and your sig is way over the 35k. u are not a good example of what to do.

- actually other than 42 and myself all of the other sigs on this page are above 35kb. although u can probably get away with up to 39kb

Same basic thing... Mess around with the compression and quality of it when going into save for web.... Just mess around with a few different settings and see how it effects the picture...
