Start Problem

I Got A 1999 Civic Si And I Have A Starting Problem. When I Start The Car It Starts Fine But When Is About To Idle It Fights To Stay On But It Just Die And The When I Try To Start Her Back Up The Engine Turns But It Does Not Start. I Think It Could Be Spark Plugs, Distributor Cap Or Spark Plugs Cables. But Please Give Me Some Of Your Wisedom.

Can you keep it running with your foot on the gas?
If so, it's probably your idle air control valve.
If not, then it could be a lot of things but probably none of what you plan on replacing.
