Steering wheel swap

gotta pull my steering wheel when i install the ghost key.
if i swap to a different wheel, do i need to do anything specific to delete the airbag?
will the car freak out if it's disconnected?

what do people do about the cruise controls, when swapping to an aftermarket wheel?

I disconnected the cruise when swapping my wheel. I may re-add it at some point but which means it may never happen.

i like cruise, as i regularly drive long distances...
It's 2+ hours down to the twin cities, where my office, and my kids are...

So i guess that's the only reason i will keep this wheel.
