swap question into my eg

so i got a 92 eg after i totaled my 97 ej8 and its auto unfortunately because it was all i can afford after buying the wife a car for her to waste her own gas lol but back on subject....
i have a lsvtec that im planning to swap into the eg.....now i have a y1 cable trans can i just get the cable pedal assembly master and slave cylinder and a clutch cable to make it work instead of keeping it hydro?
any GOOD ideas or personal experience will be greatly appreciated thanks in advance

no....cuz ive heard from guys that have cable trans that the car is more responsive but the cable stretches over the years and needs to get replaced
so is it worth converting to cable? or jus keep it hydro?
