The CD player won't play.

Every time I put in a CD, I get a flashing message that says "DISC" and then it ejects. I re-insert and the whole process happens again. It finally plays, but sometimes if I try to skip to another track, it will start flashing "DISC" and then it ejects again. What is going on here?

it can't read the disc so it's either the cd or the lens is dirty go buy a cd lens cleaner. if that doesn't work buy a new cd player.
