tokico illumina question

I wanted to get you guys opinion. Im planning on buying used tokico illuminas for $260. The seller claims to have only used the shocks for about 2,000 miles. My question is, is the price a good price and how do i make sure the shocks are still in good shape?

For $160 more you can get them brand new. If you knew for sure that he only had em for 2k miles then it would be an alright deal. But me personally, I don't buy used stuff when it comes to springs and shocks.

dont buy used tokico shocks. They wont last long and they are crap.
