Tunning b16 ..plz help !!

hello Guys,
I would you like to know your opnion!!
I have a budget of 2000$ and planning to tune my b16 so im thinking of either going for a B20 block or....engine into H22a.
which one you think is more reliable.

both are honda... both are reliable as f*** lol. I personally go with the b20. why? because you can get a b20 block for like 300-400ish leaving you with about 1700 left for tuning, building, porting and polishing, b20vtec kit and all that fun stuff. not to mention that the b20 block bolts right up to the engine bay. unlike the h22

I'd go for the B20 as well. However, the H22 yields more torque. If you are looking for good N/A numbers, The H series would def get you there easier than the B but it's going to cost you more.

any body got an idea how can i rev up to 8 K with my b20 block !! or that is totally not possible

block guard rods and head work my buddy revs his to 8500 with no prob with those mods but just keep the b16 and build that.
