So i replaced my steering wheel column. Now the blinkers do not click off when I turn them on. They keep on clicking/blinking until I manually shut it off. It is not the blinker unit itself, because I replaced it with the old one. The steering wheel is not straight with the wheels, I will fix this issue. any ideas?

I should also mention the wheel airbag is not yet installed. not sure if it needs to be installed to work.
No I did not, I found a pdf that outlined the entire issue.
