most people use wrinkle paint. But if your taking about like high temp, its not needed.

I used hi-temp rattle can paint and lots of clearcoat. It's all in the prep work though.

I'm rocking a black painted cover and took some sand paper and sanded off just the "Honda" name that is slightly risen.

sand your valve cover use 500degree+ paint otherwise youll get this nasty peeling you can also use VHT paint but your motor shouldnt ever reach 2k degrees lol
