wow... some harsh criticism in here 
This contest just illustrates that still life photography is NOT EASY!
hopefully this will motivate some people to practice with lighting, composition, etc

I just barely noticed that you were a mod againmine was between dave, pete or sam....dave's was a little to dark for me...i liked the upper half of genuine's, but no so much the bottom half....ended up voting for sam, only because i liked the colors, the lighting caught my eye, and i cant imagine the looks he was getting taking pictures of an underwear manequin in a department store
f**kin jewtastic computer......that sucks....mine was really goodwell, i left peoples names by it, because for the last few contests anthony had it set up that way, if you guys would rather have it be anonymous from now on, i can do that from here on out...no problem with me....
you messed up when you sent your thumbnail to OC, it wasnt clickable, so all you really sent in was a 1"x1" picture of your still life....
so anyone vote for a specific reason? its cool that everyone has at least one vote
i didnt know there was a new contest..its so hard to see when theres a new one up..and still life again? didnt we just do that?
so what exactly does that mean? and are you sure it wasnt the user? because judging from that statement..it probably was
then wheres mine? i had one submitted for the still life..i thought. but i thoguht i remembered a vote one had snow with a hay bail and one was a trail in the woods and there was an arguement about those not being still life..
no...it was prob something iether i did or something that f**ked up uploading it or something......im just blaming my computer......lol

4. Bad focus. E&J should be clearer.
5. Did you literally just look at your desk and take a picture?
6. LOL. I actually chuckled when I saw the thumbnail, but pretty good.

I decided to vote for #3, because I liked it the best, I would have just arranged the tiles ( or whatever ) differently.

1. i like the reflections of the ice and glass. but i think it's a little too dark
2. i like the randomness and tone, but the jdm angle kills it
3. a little too minimalist for a still life, but good color
4. don't really like the framing
5. i voted for this one because, even though it's simple, i like the way the photo is divided into two with the black and neon blue on the left and white light on the left

The glass was too clear for a brighter shot. I have some brighter images but the glass washed out really easily. Maybe I should use lower quality glass instead of Simon Pearce stuff.
