my cuzzin has a 96 civic hatchback cx... to reduce weight he took out his spare tire too... his front passenger seat is taken out... and when he needs to, he takes out the back seats too... he takes his rims off and uses his stock 15" or 16" tires... they're a lot lighter... instead of using some forged steel catback exhaust he has a titanium catback and a carbon fiber muffler... his a/c system is take out and ummmmm... that's all i could think of that he does to reduce weight...

i wanna do it too, but think i'll keep my car for show a lil longer... hahaha....

another thing you could do is make sure there is not much gas in the tank. A full tank of gas is pretty heavy.
Keep about a 1/4 tank in when you go on the track.
