i use to just get autozone oil filters, i used castoroil 10w30 , and left out a quart of that and used a quart of lucas oil treatment, which i used in every car i own, they run like champs with that combo

i heard good things about the pure1 filters. honda is made by filtech which is much better than the previous supplier. anything made by champlabs is great too like mobil1 k&n and bosch

Personally, i use Mobile1. that's what i will recommend because I've used it and have had no problems since day one.

i use a fram filter and castrol synthetic 5w30 in my turbo car

Our 1000+whp shop race car uses an off the shelf honda oil filter and NON synthetic oil
