Stabilizer bars keep the car's body flat by moving force from one side of the body to another.

A strut tower bar helps minimize deflection and distortion of the front strut towers during dynamic driving conditions. Hard Cornering...etc.

^basically like that. think of it as sway bars help body roll, strut bars help rigidity

just looked at the links and it kinda explains their purpose there...

sway bars help keep both tires on the ground during cornering. during a hard turn, the inside wheel will want to rise up, since the outside wheel is compressed. a sway bar will counteract that (or do its best to) and keep both wheels on the ground.

it is long.. yes, but it is a great writeup iamgod did a while back. it will help you understand whats going on... even if you dont understand everything that is covered.

strut bars help keep the body rigid under corners, and somewhat reduce body roll.. but mainly body flex. they basically make the two shock tower assemblies and tie them together, so they act as one, and dont move separately when cornering and such. they basically help make the car more stable.

however i would do some more reseach before automatically getting all four strut bars... and sways... they can have some strong effects on the dynamics of the car. your understeer/oversteer are the biggest things effects by these mods so just take it easy if/when you get them... dont go haulin ass into a turn until you have a good feel for the car with these mods.

strut bars goes front top, front bottom, back top, back bottom. its mainly use to stiffen up the body and reduce flex. swaybars is located in the front bottom and rear bottom reduces body roll and improve control on under/over steer. IMO just putting in a rear sway bar will feel way more difference then putting in all the strut bars...for the 96-00 stock civics with 22mm front sway bar and there is no rear sway bar. the 99-00 si comes with 26mm front sway bar and 13mm rear sway bar. you cant put the si front sway bar on the other civic without changing the LCA..
