In the car scene it's a cut-throat world w/ females. I'm not friends w/ girls in the scene b/c we're all trying to out-do each other, or they're whores, or just plain dumb..maybe all. I personally believe most are dumb and whores, and that's me being in the scene for 13years. You know..before the F&F movies came out, and while half the newbs were in grade school.

Maybe you should've listened to all the guys when they said, IBTL, and this won't end well.

I believe the purpose of this thread was to unite the girls of the site.. it was a friendly gesture. No reason to be hostile.

I totally agree. I just have been trying to find girls to atleast talk to about this stuff. I've always been friends with guys and it's refreshing to hang out with girls once in a while. But you are absolutely right. EIther they're skanks (which I'm sure you boys LOVE) or they're defensive and cocky. I'm not, and don't try to be. I'm just trying to find new people to talk to. And I'm really glad I'm not the only one that feels this way.

OP---I guess I've been around for so long that I've found out it's not common at all to find something in common w/ a girl in the scene. You might find a bestie for awhile, but then she hoes around, or starts copying your s**t, using your hookups, trying to get w/ your dude, starts to become clueless about the cars, and/or starts throwing herself on the cars instead of building them.

Before I announced that I was a girl, 90% of this forum thought I was a guy by how I speak alone. Hell, putting my name in my sig is something recent I did. I have no tolerance for idiots both guys and and esp girls. You guys think I'm being mean...? s**t...I'm NICE on this forum. Actually...in person, and to my friends I'm the sweetest girl ever.

It sounds like you have experience with hoes and that's unfortunate I have yet to even find a girlfriend who even knows how to read her dipstick. But I totally see what your saying, because even going to meets I see girls like that, it makes me mad because they give us a bad rep. And it REALLY pisses me off when girls have all this money and have clean ass cars.... but don't know jack.

I guess I just thought you were mean just because EVERY post you are dogging on someone/something. But you don't take s***, which is cool. I can respect that. And you have to be like that to survive in the scene as a girl. I learned that the hard way.

I haven't dealt w/ a lot of hoes..I just see them EVERYwhere. I didn't get into the scene b/c of my BF when I was young. I got in b/c my stepfather had a Nova and a Chevelle and I was his tool b***h when I was a kid. Then I got my first car and had interest but he wouldn't let me mod it b/c it's too addicting and pricey. So when I moved out, I sold it, got what I wanted, and did what I wanted. He put the car itch in me at an early age and I'm trying desperately to get out of the scene now.

I also don't bash everyone; I just know clean and correct builds VS. rice and wanna be bullshit builds, and people going about their car all wrong. It's a forum; I'm entitled to my opinions. I give positive and negative feedback, w/ no sugar coating.

MODS: On another forum I'm on, we have a thread similar to this one, but only girls are allowed to post. It's actually a subforum that the guys don't have the ability to post in. It's quite fun b/c we have a chance to talk cars, but be girls at the same time w/o guys ragging on us for being girls. Sorta like the VIP area w/ all the porn, seeing how only a few of us females partake in there anymore.

I understand we don't have enough active females for this, but what that board did was change all female user's names to pink and then gave us access to the woman's lounge but not the guys. We have the ability to see/post in the entire forum, including porn. There is a section strictly for guys that we can't participate in as well to make it fair to the guys.

Maybe something to toss around if we get more intelligent girls on here..? erm..i mean girls.

Same. My grandpa kind of got me into appreciating cars, then my friend (who is now my bf) introduced me to Hondas. And why are you getting out? We need more smart, non-sluts! Haha

And you are, it just comes across that way. I'm more of a "to each his own" kind of person, but I will make fun of some punkass with his three foot spoiler and underglow on his boosted automatic stock motor and calls it "JDM".

That's pretty cool. That's what I was shooting for, but obviously I don't have that power. I want in on this.
I'm also a Service Advisor at a Honda dealership, so I get mistaken for the receptionist and get accused for "not knowing what I'm talking about" everyday.
