Y7 Iacv

I'm about to throw on my OBD1 ECU and was wondering how to get my Y7 IACV working with it. I put the ECU on to test and as I suspected, it threw an IACV code. Can I do the 3 wire to 2 wire conversion? I have no idea what the Y8 IACV is like so I'm not sure how it compares to my Y7 IACV (mines attached to the TB).

I didnt think you had to do ne thing w/the IAVC if your just going to an OBD1 ECU.

Hmm you may be right but then why am I getting a check engine light for the IACV and why does it not idle or rev?
