It can be done for sure but pay close attention to your prep work. The overall paint job will only be as good as the prep work. I painted my daily with rustoleum and a paint roller. 6 coats took me about a week, but 2 days of that was just prep work.

After reading another thread where someone had picked up a red CX I went looking at some old pics and came across my car before I really did anything to it. In this pic the only thing changed were the turn lights. Way back in the day: Monster Truck status!

This brings back some memories! When I first got mine (also a CX) the red was so faded that it was almost pink in some areas. But I drove it like that for years until the motor finally gave out and thats when I "project it" out. I love these little cars. Congrats on a good find man.

Awesome! The badge thing doesnt really bother me but I do think the rears look better with either just the H or nothing at all. Also I hate bras! All kinds. But they are functional if you HWY drive a lot.

HAHA. Besides, a lot of the fuse charts in cars like ours are somewhat generic in the sense that they will show items that may not apply to the car... such as auto locks. I have the same chart and I dont have auto anything as the car is technically a CX model.
