haha, i have no clue either... aw well... doesnt seem to bother me as much as everyone else...i wanna see this thing in actons, but that bay is an eye sore i dont know how the heck you have like 4x the wires as anyone else i have seen with an h22
i'd suggest going to the dealer and getting the o-ring seals for the IACV before u put it back on.haha, i have no clue either... aw well... doesnt seem to bother me as much as everyone else...
problem is.. it dies when it warms up... i think im gunna try cleaning the iacv tomorrow
ok... let me try to explain. when it dies the idle starts to go really low, like 400-500rpm and then back up and then on the second time down i think it usually dies... i havent conducted too many tests but i do know that if i give it gas it lives... and yes it only dies if it idles warm. hope that gives you some clues... we increased the idle with both adjusting screws so it wouldnt die when it was cold though. i guess you could say it dies slowly... because the rpm kinda goes up and down and then it just dies.how does it die? slowly? abruptly? how does it sound? does it only die if it idles warm? what if you use the throttle to keep it running, does that work?
good post kyle! thanks, i will work on it tomorrowyea, i was gonna suggest adjusting the idle....this thread may help you learn about idle which will help you troubleshoot it...
