Spark plugs look ok. Just replaced both the distributor coil and igniter...no spark...fuel in the cylinders

1998 honda civic cx with a d16y8 unknown miles. I saw the the ignition coil modual has just completely melted on the bottom side while in my car. I then put the old coil on witch worked last time it was on but no spark this time testing it. Could it be the igniter modual that i need to replace.
