i bought this car a few weeks ago from my neighbor cause it wouldnt start for them and they didnt wanna put any money into it.it would crank but not start for them. so i did a lot of reading and thought it was the main realy.bought that put it in.no change.i had someone look at it and he said one of the components were bad in the distributor.so i decided to buy a whole distributor.put it in and it instantly fired right up.next morning i tried starting and it was back to crank with no start.started looking all over to see if anything was not connected and i found a wire on the passenger side disconnected.the wire connected to what i would describe as a short nipple under the distributor next to a hose and the wire connecting to it had a bullet connector on it.plugged that in and it fired up right away.ran great nice and smooth.no misses or check engine lights.so this morning went to start it and its back to crank no start.ive done every test i know about.the map wires read 5 volts.the distributor reads 12v along with the tach is reading 12v.the ignition switch reads 12v on all wires and the middle wire reads 10.2v while cranking.i jumped out the small wire on starter to battery and no change.crank no start.i dont know where to go from here
