how would they work on only 1 cam?
You can adjust ignition timing by turning the distributor. Advancing the timing will give you a little bottom end power and retarding it is pretty much for FI or sprayed applications to help prevent detonation. I have my timing advanced on my SOHC and I feel a little kick around 3-3.5k RPM.Originally posted by "Rice4Brains"

Just be sure to use at least 91/92 octane after you advance the ignition or you might end up with some detonation. That stuff ain't pretty.
