Its most likely your idle air control valve.

2 Valves

There are 2 valves that control Idle. 1 is the IAC located on the intake and the other is attached to the throttle body (the fast idle control valve). Which one did you replace? I am having the same problem so I bought a new ECU and have a IAC coming. According to the Honda service manual If you check the leads running to it and it checks good it is the ECU. I just worked backwards.

Well New Z-3 style fenders or something like that would be resonable. Or just cut you loses and go for the swap. Not sure what you are asking for a price on.

From what I have read the fart smell after you drive it for a while is an old cat converter. Gets dirty and when it heats up it stinks. I dont know about the clutch... could be that but I've never heard of that.

If the IAC is new then The frist thing you might wont to check is your coolent if its low your idle will do that, and if your water pump is going bad that will happen too
