:word: my sony is the same way. ive got one on the side and three in the back. they do this so if you decide to mount the tv on the wall, the plugs are easy to get to.

My Samsung has 1 on the side and 2 on the back.

I'd rather more on the back then the side, that sony had like all of them on the side.

I got the LN32B550 today, bestbuy has a kick ass sale, it was almost 150 off.

gotta say, blu ray in 1080p is AMAZING

I was just about to chime in and recommend the Samsung LN32B550. I've sold and installed a ton of them, rock solid tv's with a great feature set.

Why do you need 3 HDMI inputs? I typically run one hdmi, one component, one rg6, and 3 cat5's to TV's when I wire in wall. Typically we use receivers to switch audio and video.
