now to spend some money on a clay bar and polish.
No. There's not really a need to clay bar them though. The clay woudl stick in the texture of the sideskirts and make a mess. Wash them (remove them if you want to get them really clean) and then either dress them or dye them.but there that black plastic??? so no?
Just read this.hey im gonna do the clay bar and then do i wash it and do wax? or do i clay bar and then straight to wax?
Let's go over it again.yea but i just wanna skip glaze and the other stuff . im gonna wash it, then clay bar then wax but do i wash it after i clay bar , before i wax it?
OMG where the f**k have you been!!!?Let's go over it again.
Clay = Helps clean the paint; removes stuff from the paint surface.
Wax = Protects the paint and your detailing work.
So... this would mean you want to do which first then?
This is the order you do it in. If you skip a step, you skip a step (DON'T skip washing). It's still always in the same order though.
- Wash
- Clay
- Polish
- Glaze
- Wax
