So I'm looking at this truck you see...

is a 1985 short box chevy with a fully built roller 454.

Block work:
four bolt main
eagle billet main caps
scat pro comp light weight crank
4.250" stroke fully forged
rods are eagle ESP H-beams
pistons are mahle 4.500" bore
10.5:1 compression.

Head work:
heads are rectangle ports that have been well worked with 2.250 intake and 1.88 exhaust.
race series crane roller rockers 1.7 ratio and crane stud gridle
weiand tunnel ram intake and 850cfm race demon carb
deep sump oil pan with side kick outs to fit stroker crank throttle respones is crazy, faster then fuel injection.

Tranny/suspension:
trans is built turbo 400 with B&M shift kit and a hughes 4000 stall.
narrowed ford 9 inch locked up with disc brakes and 4:86 richmond gears.

It dynos right around 600hp and 640tq.

Thing fricken roars. Wraps out nearly as high as my D16!!! Shift light at 6500, but can take higher (with a bigger cam)

This thing gets sideways in a second.. drift this y0!

i've had an 89 chevy s10 with a mildly built 350 and a b&m slapshift, i've also had a 66 chevy with a built, balanced, and blueprinted corvette motor that was pushing over 400hp and had a weighted filled tailgate

neither truck was very fun imo
lots of power and no traction, it's kind of like a really hot chick that's all over you but wont put out.... it's just a tease

it has small electrical problems (windows are slow, doors dont always pop)

and it needs a better alignment (hard braking above 40 pulls to the right)
