NOOB Question, Password intake install, not enough holes?

From the picture it looks like the hose you are holding goes to your coolant system.

scan the code and figure out what the check engine light is for if you havent yet

Alright so basically here's what I did.

Just eliminated this metal piece and the got one of the mini air filters for the valve cover, the coolant line that ran through this metal piece had a long enough hose to just bypass the metal piece. Then the vacuum line goes straight into the intake, problem solved.

Took the battery cable off and no more check engine light.
