my next project is my intake... but i cant decide what i want.. if anyone with first hand experience on any aftermarket intake would just post their opinions, i'd appreciate it.

i've been looking at the AEM V2, but its kinda pricey, and i dont wanna pay that much for something when there's something better out there

thanks =)

the v2 is a waste of $ for the power for your car. i' go with just the aem cai. i have one and its great. i've also heard injen intakes aren't bad either.if it's me though, aem :D

A short ram is a short ram. That is to say that a hunk of pipe with a filter on it is a hunk of pipe with a filter on it.

If you don't need a CARB exemption number, a generic SRI will work everybit as well as an AEM/Injen/whatever the flavor of the day is...etc...

If you are that worried about the quality of a generic filter, K&N makes a nice one that if properly cleaned and maintained will outlast the car. Stuff that on to the end of the generic/ebay SRI pipe and be happy

why does everyone keep using the word 'project'?

AEM is overpriced. There are other brands you could go with that are still good quality and not so pricey.

E-mission in Arkansas is what comes after D-mission

be careful where you get the sock from.

you don't want anybody opening the hood and seeing your girlfriend's rainbow toe socks on there...you'd have some explaining to do.

AEM V2 is pricey but it is pretty bad ass, if you don't mind spending a couple extra bucks I'd get that

just don't buy the cheap knock off cai's off of ebay they fit like s**t, on a sri you can def hear it a lil more, but w/ your windows down the cai screams through tunnel's and overpasses
