I was thinking about installing some angel eye halo's on my 98 but then i came across the JDM smoked headlights. Being that mine is black i think it might look a little better than the halo's. Im still gonna put the halo's on my girlfriends Accord though.

Okay, I just got my projector headlights installed today in my car today. They look alright, I guess. Damn, I didn't know projectors use H3 bulbs instead of H4. My cousin gave me Nokya bulbs along with the projectors and I think those bulbs are CRAP!! I ordered some PIAA Super Plasma bulbs, which I think are way better. But anyways, I'm just wondering...is there any way to adjust the projector lens or whatever so that the lights shine more to the ground? Also, I'm not familiar with H3 bulbs. How the heck do I change my bulbs when the time comes? Cuz the wire connecting the bulb is somewhere in the back of the headlight housing itself. Will I have to open up my headlights or something to change the bulbs? I'm so friggin lost and confused.

Well, is there anyone out there who has projector headlights with H3 bulbs in them who can help me out? My car looks so freakin retarded when I drive it at nite cuz one of the bulbs has faded to a dull yellowish color instead of being white. GrRRrrRrRr!!

yes h3 bulbs are small bulbs with a string blue or white string... if you have projectors.. back of it should have a rubber or plastic cover that hides the light bulbs... useally H3 are your lowe beam and H1's are your highbeam... same thing you do with H4 Bulbs from your stock... just take out the Plastic or rubber protector and there will be a metal, clip that holds the bulbs in together.... and a white or blue string that holds the H3 bulb.... make sure you hold on to the string... and plug&play ... same goes with H1 highbeam...

Hope this helps .... hope this didn't confuse most of you guys =x
If needed more help PM me :D

I have dual halos w/ black housing that leaked like hell!!!!!! I complained to the company, they made me send a pic, and we're working out the details now. Just my luck, I had just gotten in the new led bulbs for the turnsignals too!

btw, the ones I have are single projector with h1's and non projector with h1s for high beams

I have dual halo projectors w/h3 low and h1 high beam. They light up REALLY good! The halos are impossible to see during the daytime though which is pretty gay, that may just be mine though. I can see awesome in all types of weather but once again that could just be mine b/c others have complained about poor lighting. Anyway, hope this helps anyone.

I heard TYC makes good ones too, mine are Sonar. The construction seems good but the Halos aren't very bright, that's my biggest complaint about them. The lights themselves work REALLY well though.

hehe well mine.. the H1 High beam works *OMG* really great... put some Piaa FX bulbs and it shines like BMW lights, and H3 low beam is not as bright... replaced them with Piaa Plasma Blue....but my Halo works very nice bright bright LED that is viable during daytimes :-D ..and really bright LED during night... but my beams suck :( but halos are great :D i guess it depends on the company...

Yeah, so it sounds like we have opposite combinations, combine them together and there is one GOOD set of lights. What brand are yours?

Wow, this thread got resurrected from the dead! HaHa!

Since I'm here, I might as well ask a question or two...

Anyone know any good HID conversion kits out there? I'm looking to get a kit cuz I love bright lighting on cars for some reason. Also, are HID conversion kits street legal? I've heard that they're for "off-road use only", but has anyone really gotten caught for having them on their car? Just wondering.
