either you have spyware(s)/trojan(s)/virus(es) or you have a spyware version...

I just tried it and it worked just fine for me.

that's what I thought at first... but I've scanned and rescanned several times with Norton and spybot and adaware.... having found anything so far...
it's not doing it when I download vids or anything else.. just audio files... I need to check from another computer

Mcafee is better than Norton. get that. and dont update. i usually dont update for the same reason. it usually messes up the program.

If you tried to download a MP3 file and it say "Can't find license for file" and you clicked the one that said to look for one or w/e, that could have caused it.

I haven't downloaded any updates for it... I hadn't even turned it on in a while... just started doing it out of the blue... I guess I'll uninstall the one I have and look around for a different version.

i got rid of limewire a while ago. my computer was messing up bad, and they said limewire was the cause. Got rid of it and my computer has been fine ever since. I use 'Ares' now and I've had no problems so far.

Ares for the win. I used to use Limewire, but all the adware and s**t messed up my comp. I've been using Ares for a while now and have had zero problems. I strongly recommend it.
