Splash guard

My splash guard came un done and was dragging they wanted 500.00 to replace it they said I really didn't need so so i said just cut it off. Some people say you need some say you dont so do you or don't you need one. 2020 civic

Local salvage yard will have with you need. Splash shield will help keep a lot of road debris, dirt, grease and such out of the engine bay. Do you need it, no. Is it recommended to have it in place, yes.

Why, because it keeps the engine bay cleaner with it.

. If you're down south or don't have salty/slushy winters, it's not as big of a deal. Otherwise I'd recommend replacing it for sure.
