VIP Vote!!

well heres the deal.. lounge posts counting was removed.. and as a result a lot of good members lost the ability to access VIP.. which is not fair.. so to make it FAIR you the members will vote... whatever you decide WILL be used..... the choices are general numbers chosen based on the suggestions ive had as well as members.... TO BE FAIR, im including an option to remove VIP.. it was asked for so has to be there.. because there were SO many options we are going to do a 5 day poll.. if one option wins by %50 or more.. that will be the automatic winner... if not.. the top two will be repolled (like the old rotm) voting.. the reason for this is simple.. we want the winning choice to really represent the majority...

8 months - 500 posts got my vote....wanted a year, but that does seem kinda steep

i chose 8 months/250 posts because if you are here for 8 months, you should be interested in the site. and if you can't make 250 useful posts in 8 months time, then you really shouldn't be in VIP. i guess its fair for most of us, even if 500 is a better number.

IMO age restriction. Since porn (& links to) is posted in there and technically, legally you have to be 18 years old to view porn on the internet (legally) an age restriction should be set.

This way some kids parent dosent get his/her pannies in a bunch and throw a law suit at JJ because thier under age kid was able to view porn on the website.

But since you have the ability to change your birthdate there are still Policy Agreements that the (user) agreed to at Registration so thus they can not throw a lawsiut at JJ without viotating said Policy.

yeah, i think the age requirement is a constant.....these are just the secondary requirements

6 months is more than enough time imo...and 500 posts will show is they contribute or not..

Thought about it for a bit, and decided to go with 8 months and 250 posts. I think that's a decent median between time and participation to be considered a contribution to this site.

I was originally going to go with 8 months and 500 posts(even though I then would not have access), but I had to keep in mind that no longer do Lounge posts count, and being that the majority of technical questions and answers have already been made and only require searching, it's a bit more difficult to really bring up post count in that manner without whoring it to 500.
