i say even though post count is a lot of whore posts... it still shows how active a member is. we can still post n whore so not countin it doesnt make a difference, but it does take away alot from us. the only way i can post in tech threads is to ask questions, cuz im more of a noob than real noobs! but i dont need to ask questions cuz i know how to google! so yeah, i just say it kinda kills the active members. i dont care, i still have VIP!, even though VIP is not wat it used to be...

i didnt vote......but do agree with you about the "grandfather" thing...i got a pm from sublimewles (or however you spell his username) and now he cant get into VIP, which was where he spent most of his time anyways, just posting porn....hes been here for forever, and now cant go in there....
i can see having stricter VIP rules to make it VIP...but the OG's that dont post as much as the whores are being "punished" too i guess...i mean, i dont care one way or the other, i dont have alot of VIP lounge acitivity, and i definatly dont care about my post count....but it effects others

someone remind me agian why we even have post counts? i'm sure it wouldnt be to difficult to remove the line under everyone's name saying how many posts they have. sure, i like seeing my posts high.. but do i care.. nope. i'm more OG than most of the people bitching... and some of the current mods too. do i care... nope. if there are OGs who are now blocked from VIP... they've been around long enough to see what the site has been going thru, and to understand the reasoning behind it.
its only been a day people. give it time for things to settle and see how all this plays out. i dunno if it'll work.. but in the end... its not my decision. nor is it any of yours. its JJs. its not a democracy... we dont vote on who's president, or vice, or any of that shite. voting wont do s**t.

I just dont think this was well thought out. I mean all these thoughts i vomited on this site came off the top of my little head. And its tough for me to believe that those issues werent considered. And if they were, well then, IMHO, it wasnt the right choice and there is a better way to resolve these supposed issues about whoring...

true, it does kinda suck that the many deal with the decisions of few... but those few are (whether we like it or not) our leaders. they are doing what they beleive is good for the community.
give it more time before we start complaining about the repercussions... we're only on the second day of this change.

well, I haven't been around too long, but the little I have seen so far I can see that this site has alot of helpful threads, and lots of tech info. I think that this decision seems to have upset more than a few people, some might actually not voice their opinions because of fear of being banned, I saw one guy getting banned for voicing his opinion. Yes, this is a car site, but you will not have a site for very long once all the tech threads start getting whored with those one word responses, just trying to raise post count. And you will not have a site much longer once all the memebers start leaving. Like I said, I'm new on this site, but I can already see a bunch of problems coming from all of this.
