I know what u are going to say, and to that----> I didnt know that much about civics before I got here, but learned, and posted about what I learned. and ya know what... I found there are some great people to talk with and kill time on this site hence why I lost so many freaking posts.

i dont see any whoring in those threads except the "why JDM?" thread, but thats not even in the lounge. from the examples you gave everyone remained on topic. i dont consider that whoring at all.

the TOPICS arent whoring??? I mean who comes to an automobile site to ask what shoes they should wear with baggy pants? Or how about tight pants? or what shoes do you wear when you are driving a civc??????

THOSE are the types of threads that DONT NEED TO BE HERE....I dont think ALL threads should be about cars/civics whatever, but to let stuff like THAT go thats obviously a joke................Come on.

i dont know what point youre trying to make but if it has to do with off topic posts being in the technical areas, all i have to say to you is its being discussed among the mods.

zero tolerance... mods should be on top of their sections.. as stated in the rules whoring is NOT permited... a couple off topic posts is ok.. if a thread spirals off course a mod should jump in.. give a general warning "come on guys like keep it on track" DELETE the whored posts (now they dont count) and then allow the thread to get back on topic.. since so many threads are whored out this will be even harder in the begining.. but ive already been doing this and no one has objected.. because they recognize that its just whoring and understand me cleaning up the thread is what im supposed to be doing... further.. repeat offenders will be warned via PM, and the mod who issues the warning is to update the warning list... .

s**t k. I'll drop my in here. My post count is sitting at 330-335 now I lost around 800 +/-posts. I spend a lot of time posting in the loung (obviously) but imo why should those posts be considered whoring when someone can ask a Q in tech, have the first post in the thread answer his/her Q and then have 30 more posts of , what he said, What's the diff?

i dont know what you want me to tell you. but from what i can see in the mod section, all i can tell you is this rule is here to stay. so everybody has 2 options; get over it or leave. im sorry if that sounds harsh but its the truth. im niether for it nor against it, i voted for the "who gives a f**k" when daniel put that in there. i'm simply writing what im writing to back up jay jay's decision. you guys dont see what gets discussed in the mod section so i can understand why you think we just make s**t up without thinking it through. but i assure you we discussed this thoroughly in the mod section where jay jay is always involved.

Mods INSTANTLY jumped when I let them know OGs were being left out of VIP, u obviously didnt think it would cause such a stink, but it obviously has. A LOT more people DONT like the idea, and the the idea WILL NOT get to the goal you set forth as posted by myself and MANY OTHER MEMBERS. I even posted proof thats its still going on and you dont belive me...... what can I do.

Shiz/mods, make up your mind. You are the FIRST person that said if it doesnt work AGAIN it will be repealed, funny, some blue people dont have that same opinion (see page 1 for 1 example)...

Can you prove that this is 'working'? I see just as much s**t/whoring in the lounge as before (posted proof) and now Ive seen whoring in tech threads (same post, and in fact, you helped me prove that)... from what little ive seen, i dont think its working SO FAR. All I see is members (most of them disgruntled) making 500+ posts in 2 days, and a poll that obviously does not WANT this implemented any longer. Seems worth the all the trouble.

Unless you can throw out statistics, thats just a load of hot air.....
