Maybe he means VR4, but that doesn't sound right for an '02 eclipse.... Maybe 4V? Like the Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalve, which means four valves per cylinder.

As far as I know:
90-94=1st Gen
95-99=2nd Gen
00-current=3rd Gen...

So you are right, '02 would be the 3rd gen.

i had a 6th gen white coupe in mind or a 7th gen white coupe.....or a DC5 type S, oh yeah, in white! financing told me "6the gen" and i aint mad at 'em

yeah i was thinking of getting a GTS eclipse but couldnt find one for the right amount i was looking to spend for the quality so yeah either a 95-99 eclipse or a prelude.
