I've got directional and they've only lasted me a little over a year with proper inflation and rotation. To top it off I barely drive the car.

What brand are they? I have some kumho on my car right now and I have more than a year with them and still have plenty of tread left on them.

They are Yokohama avs es100's 16's. The tires I got with the car were fairly new and they lasted about 2 years. And they wore unevenly too. They were firestone's stock size. Had my alignment checked 3 times with these tires and the toe was perfect. The tire shop said it can be caused by ride height. The car's not lowered and the springs look stock. Is this a common problem with civics?

I forgot to mention it's only the front tires that are wearing quickly on the insides. The backs are fine.

maybe you should be looking into camber kit for front...if it is wearing inside ... i mean if you got it aligned and fixed th toe problem it's good to go, but i would just take it again (if still have the warranty) and try to fix it, if not go buy a camber kit . the whole control arm.. Skunk2 is way to go or Ingalls or SPC.

i rotate my tires every oil change. so about 2500 to 3000 miles i change. and my tire wear is very even and a bit of toe, i'm getting my car lowerd this weekend and getting alignment done..

I Have Bridgestone Potenza RE910's

Awesome Rain Tire. There 205/50/15 on my stock SiR rims. Seem to be wearing good. I rotate them regularly

Yah sounds like an alignment problem to me as well

Directional Toyo Proxes FZ4 (I think). No problems, but I only use them in the warm months. Winter tires are stock Potenzas.

Yokohama parada spec-2s....the best tire out there
so very incorrect.

with a treadwear of just 300, they are far from the best.

The Falken Azenis ST115s are rated at 360 with an A in temperature and traction with a ZR speed rating.
The Falken Ziex ZE512s are rated at 360 with an A in temperature and traction with a VR speed rating.

Paradas are overrated...

non-directional here...Azenis Sport...the treadwear of 200 owns me...but the tenacious grip and improvement in cornering and braking is undeniable.
