Regarding VIP - I couldnt agree more. I feel like everybody on this site is in VIP now. When I joined there was a 500 post limit.... and it took me a while to get up there, but when I did.. it was only VIP members...... people who were actually a big part of the site... people who were regulars and that everyone knew. I really think the post count should be brought back, along with a minimum time requirement. One of the arguments to this was that people will whore their way up there and clutter the forums. Well, this is the reason why post whoring is against the rules and why all whored posts really should be deleted. If persistent whoring occurs, the user should be banned. These are my thoughts.
As far as mods go - It's Jay Jay's decision who he chooses as a mod. This is his site and he does pay for it. He has the right to choose whoever he wants. Personally, i'm happy as long as the mod does his/her job, listens to member input, acts on the member input, does not abuse his/her power and keeps the site running well.
Most of the mods seem to be fulfilling all of these as of right now. There are a few who I don't believe come on enough to deserve the right to mod CC, but atleast they arent disrupting it.
