I don't know what you're comparing it to, I'm guessing a DX, but yes, it is definitely worth it.

The short shifters available won't change the height, just shortens the throws...

I've accelerated casually 110 on a few occasions with passengers and they had no clue we even passed 80 mph, haha. But if you're WOT, you definitely feel it :D

I've hit 131 mph on a flat straight away and could have possibly gone faster if I had more road (I like to give myself plenty of stopping distance =) ). You have to shift right at 8200 from 5th or else you'll be stuck at 125, at least, that was the case for me. Just make sure not to hit the rev...

^^^^^ Definitely got it right. I had to remove mine when I broke mine. There's a triangular plastic piece that covers the nuts which hold it on. It's honestly straight forward. Nothing, besides that plastic cover (part 7 on the diagram), needs to be removed.

Welcome to CC! And to answer your question, both the SI and Civic emblem are held on by double sided tape and only the H has holes behind it.
