is the car cranking or is it not making any noise at all. if cranking check starter wires and check grounds.

nevermine I fixed the problem. my wires had high resistance and were cracked. thanx 4 the help.

first i think my car would run terrible in low gears like it wasn't getting enough gas. then i mixed up the wires and now i have a ticking sound from the distributor cap

bump ! Do I need to turn the crank to top dead center and then started or do I need to get a new distributor cap and coil ?

I was checking my engine because it was making funny noise when like a dumbass I didn't mark were they were suppose to go can anybody help me. Also it would idle fine but in 1st it would bog. Also I think I got the order some what right because it would idle but is stinky.

Have the engine. Buying a d16z6 head to do a mini swap. Also you are lucky you haven't got your head biten off by comments. Because this question has been asked buy me(and 2,000 people before me), when I first got here. Also do some more research, this is a hobby that books and the internet...
